The terminus of the railway and trams in Alicante is now at Luceros which is in a new underground section of line, the original terminus of the FC Alicante - Denia at La Marina is now closed. The operator of both the Alicante trams & trains and the Valencia Metro and trams is Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana generally known as the FGV.
